2. For each of the terms above describe how the government could get rid of them (some are in the readings, others will have to be common sense)

  • On your own piece of paper, write what you think primary/caucus elections are
  • Watch this Video
  • Answer the following questions: 
    1. What is 1 thing that surprised you (even a little)
    2. What are 4 things that you learned?  (about anything)
    3. How do you think that the Primary system could be improved to more represent the type of Gov't the US has?

  • Pick up a packet from the table by the files
  • Complete a "Mark-up" on this packet.
  • For each paragraph you should: 
    1. Underline the most important phrase or phrases from each paragraph (thesis or evidence)
    2.  Circle important terms or people
    3.  In the left margin, add a 1-4 word summary of the paragraph
  • We will finish this tomorrow.  You should get AT LEAST half way done with the entire packet.
